Rooted in ASEAN, Empowering the Future with Intelligence – Grand Inauguration of Runjian (M) Sdn. Bhd. and ASEAN AI Innovation Center

The inaugurated ceremony of Runjian (M) Sdn. Bhd. & ASEAN AI Innovation Center was grandly held on the 7th Floor, Block B3, KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 22, 2026.

Athena Zhao Hua, Vice President of the Company & President of Overseas Business Group, Garry Zhou Guanyu, Vice President of the Company & Director of the ASEAN AI Innovation Center, together with all staff of Runjian (M) Sdn. Bhd., witnessed this significant milestone.

Mr. Ong Chin Seong, Chairman of PWS Group, Dr. Cheah Kok Hoong, President of Malaysia ESG Association,Chin Soo Mau, Deputy Chairman, Pekat Group, and other core ecological partners were invited to attend the event. Participants exchanged insights on new industrial opportunities and jointly built an AI future connecting ASEAN.

Ms. Athena Zhao Hua and Mr. Garry Zhou Guanyu delivered opening addresses respectively. They stated that in just over two years, riding the momentum of booming digital economy and new energy industries in Malaysia, Runjian has achieved leapfrog growth. The company has steadily established a local operation team, expanded its business footprint from data center construction and new energy O&M management to AI application development, with service coverage extending from Kuala Lumpur to multiple states including Johor and Kedah.

In terms of industrial collaboration, Runjian has established an operating entity via joint venture with Pekat Group. Supported by the self-developed RunDo PV Platform and AI Agent technology, the company has built robust growth momentum in the field of intelligent new energy operation and maintenance.

For talent cultivation, Runjian actively fosters a local talent ecosystem. It co-founded the China (Guangxi) – Embodied Perceptive Artificial Intelligence Joint Laboratory with Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), and initiated a University Computing Power Alliance together with Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman Polytechnic. Meanwhile, Runjian has launched "Runjian Classes" and "Runjian Scholarships" at multiple Malaysian universities to systematically cultivate interdisciplinary digital talents for Malaysia and consolidate the intellectual foundation for long-term industrial development.

On computing power outbound deployment, Runjian implements the collaborative development path of "R&D in Beijing, Shanghai & Guangzhou + System Integration in Guangxi + Application Rollout in ASEAN". Leveraging the Runjian Wuxiang Cloud Valley Intelligent Computing Center and adhering to the development strategy of "Token-centric, Green Computing Synergy", the company delivers cost-effective, high-security computing services for clients across the ASEAN region.

Through continuous in-depth development across three pillars — industrial collaboration, talent cultivation and computing power global expansion, Runjian has gradually built a digital development infrastructure serving ASEAN. During the ceremony, all guests engaged in in-depth exchanges covering industrial integration, technology implementation and ecological co-construction. Wide-ranging cooperation consensus was reached to jointly draw the regional development blueprint, with all parties looking forward to deeper collaboration to seize opportunities brought by ASEAN’s digital economy.

The official inauguration of Runjian (M) Sdn. Bhd. & ASEAN AI Innovation Center marks that Runjianhas built a core hub enabling the localized implementation of mature Chinese green computing solutions and industrial AI models in Malaysia and broader ASEAN.

Standing at this new starting point, Runjian will root its operations in Malaysia and radiate to multiple ASEAN nations. Capitalizing on local talent resources and geographical advantages, the company will further deepen industrial collaboration, focus on energy, education, computing infrastructure, artificial intelligence, new energy and other sectors, deploy and popularize high-quality AI applications, and develop an international innovation ecosystem. Runjian will share digital economic opportunities with ASEAN countries, pursue win-win outcomes and embark on a new journey hand in hand.
